Your data, treated like ours.

This policy explains what Neelesh Patel ("we", "us") collects when you use GetVedya, and what we do with it.

1. What we collect

Account data - name, email address, and a securely hashed password (or your Google account email if you sign in with Google).
Usage data - searches you run and filters you use, to operate the service and enforce fair-use limits.
Resumes - if you upload a resume for tailoring, we store it to generate the tailored version. We never publish it or share it with employers.
Payment data - processed entirely by Razorpay. We receive only confirmation of payment (order id, amount, status). We never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details.

2. How we use it

To run your account, show you relevant jobs, provide Pro features you've paid for, prevent abuse, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your resume or searches for advertising.

3. How it's stored and shared

Data is stored on Cloudflare's infrastructure (D1 database, KV storage) with encryption in transit and at rest.
Razorpay - payment processing only.
Job data providers - we send search queries (role, location) to fetch listings; no personal data is attached.
We disclose data only if required by law or to protect the service from abuse.

4. Cookies

We use a single strictly-necessary session cookie to keep you logged in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

5. Retention

Account data is kept while your account is active. Resumes are deleted when you delete them or close your account. Aggregated, anonymised usage statistics may be retained longer.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, corrections, or full deletion at any time by emailing support@getvedya.com from your registered email address. Deletion requests are completed within 7 business days.

7. Changes

Material changes to this policy will be highlighted here with a new "last updated" date.
